Vertical Sky® A32, the first 750-kW vertical-axis wind turbine, measures 105m from the ground and meets the stringent international certification requirements for large wind turbines (IEC 61400). The turbine series offers efficiency comparable to standard modern turbines and is especially suited to decentralised electricity production to meet on-site needs.

Continuous pitching makes the difference

Vertical Sky® technology from Agile Wind Power is a true innovation. In 2019, a large, high-performance and economically scalable vertical-axis wind turbine was built and certified for the first time ever.

Highly efficient technology:
 750kW and more

In the past, only rather small vertical-axis wind turbines have been built. The rotor blades were mounted stationary and had a high rotational speed. Due to the possibility of a low rotational speed the Vertical Sky® - Technology can garantee low centrifugal forces and low strain on the structure. Thus, the megawatt-class is possible.
